When Times are Tough – Recycle, Royal Style
From the Huffington Post...
Today in things that amuse us: Spain's Princess Letizia started 2011 the same way she began 2010 -- in a lavender blazer and matching maxi skirt. She stepped out to the Pascua Military ceremony on Thursday in the ensemble and we knew it looked familiar.
Turns out, she wore the same thing last January to the annual Foreign Ambassadors Reception. We're digging the wardrobe repeat! Also, check out how Princess Letizia and Queen Sofia rock their scarves Spanish style.

The Wedding of the Princes of Asturias (1)
I cannot believe it has been nearly seven years since we went to Madrid to cover this wedding, after already having covered the previous two weeks the wedding of Archduke Martin of Austria and Princess Katharina of Isenburg, and that of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Ms Mary Donaldson.

Royal Danish Baby Wait Continues
THERE was no sign of pregnancy panic at the Danish Palace yesterday.
Instead, a relaxed Princess Mary spent the day at home in Copenhagen with her Australian family by her side as the royal birth waiting game ticked on.
Anticipation over the arrival of Mary's twins reached boiling point earlier this week as international media descended on the capital and royal experts tipped the Tasmanian-born princess would give birth at any moment.
But the twins have bided their time, forcing Mary to sit tight inside Amalienborg Palace where she lives with husband Crown Prince Frederik and their children, Christian, 5, and Isabella, 3.
The 38-year-old princess and her husband were reportedly spotted slipping out of the palace early yesterday morning, but the pair soon returned.
Mary was later seen chatting on the telephone and quietly watching the busy cobblestone streets from the palace windows.
Her father, John Donaldson, who is in Copenhagen to support his daughter through the birth of her third and fourth children, also watched the famed lunchtime changing of the guards from the palace.

Ruler of Europe's last grand duchy from 1964-2000, Jean is the eldest son of the late Grand Duchess Charlotte, last of the Nassaus, and her husband Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma.
He succeeded his retiring mother in 1964 and himself renounced the throne thirty-six years later.
He was married to the former Princess Josephine Charlotte of Belgium, who died in 2005. They had five children, among them Grand Duke Henri who succeeded his father in 2000.
