The Place To Be After The Royal Wedding – Harry's After Party!

Forget the wedding!
Prince Harry has reportedly planned the after party to end all after parties, according to the Daily Mail.

The festivities, dubbed "Wedmin," are set for April 29 at night, after William and Kate say "I do." Harry, along with BFF Guy Pelly and 300 guests, will turn three State Rooms at Buckingham Palace into a nightclub filled with "treasure chest" cocktails -- rum plus champagne chilled in a, well, treasure chest. Classy! They plan to keep the dancing going 'til the wee hours of the morning.

But that's not all! What's a fete without the food? A source told the Mail that Harry has "organized a survivors' breakfast at 6am in the Palace after the party. It will mostly be their best friends from Gloucestershire who have known William his whole life. It won't be for the oldies, but the young ones. Harry is determined to make this a night to remember."

More on Prince William of Wales

Nobodies may fantasise about being princes, but not so avidly as some princes hanker to be nobodies. The last time Prince William had the thrill of being unknown was in Botswana’s Okavango Delta last year. “The locals haven’t got a clue who I am, and I love that,” he said.

Our future king’s moments of anonymity are disappearing faster than the muddy waters under his small expeditionary boat but his pursuit of a balanced, reasonably unconstrained life, running a professional career alongside the thankless role of apprentice king, is stronger than ever. He says he has no intention of being “an ornament”.
Most of his early adulthood has been an exercise in the difficult art of being both royal and real, recognising his responsibilities but getting on with what he calls normal “stuff”. People find him direct and likeable, “a strong, powerful sort of guy” with all-round action-man competence and a presence . “Very confident, very normal and very sensible,” says one of his friends. “He knows himself.”
Isn’t this the one really remarkable thing about Flight Lieutenant William Wales – his hold on normality? The sight of him as a 15-year-old boy, apparently frozen in shock, walking behind his mother’s coffin , is an image that filled every onlooker at the time with pity and foreboding.

Fixating on a Future Royal as Elusive as Cinderella

“Kate’s struggle to hold down a job since graduating has reportedly earned the displeasure of the queen,” declared the guide, Hana Umezawa, as earnestly as if she were explaining the Spanish Armada. “The closest Kate has come to having a regular job was when she worked at Jigsaw as a part-time assistant accessories buyer from 2006 to 2007.”

What do you say about a young woman who went to college, fell in love and became engaged? With Kate and Prince William’s wedding a little more than a week away, the chances of the public — that is, us — learning anything new about Miss Middleton before she turns into a princess (or a duchess, depending on which title she takes) are zero.

Now 29, she has formally spoken to the press only on the day she and William announced their engagement and submitted to a gentle sprinkling of softball questions. She appears to have spent a lifetime avoiding unseemly episodes.

Birthday Celebrations in the UK!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/21/queen-elizabeth-ii-birthday_n_852056.html#s267810LONDON (AP) - Britain's Queen Elizabeth II handed out presents as she celebrated her 85th birthday on Thursday.

The sovereign's birthday coincided with Maundy Thursday, the day marking Jesus' Last Supper, when the queen traditionally gives special coins to as many men and as many women as the years of her life.

So this year 85 men and 85 women received two coin purses during the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

The red one contained a 5 pound ($8) coin commemorating the 90th birthday of her husband Prince Philip and a 50 pence coin marking the 2012 London Olympic Games. The white one held specially minted Maundy Money of one, two three and four pence pieces, adding up to a total of 85 pence

Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

An Ester Message from Crown Prince Alexander

The great day of the Resurrection of Our Lord is upon us. The great day, that enlightened the world with joy and gave purpose to our existence. The day above all days and the feast above all feasts. I am joined by my wife Crown Princess Katherine, sons Hereditary Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander in wishing that this Holy Day remind us that we are all God’s children and that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is a call to find within ourselves what is good, for our sake and for the sake of general salvation.
We pray to the Lord to give us strength and wisdom to overcome all pain and trouble. We pray that we will work together for the benefit of Serbia and everyone in our country for present and future generations. We pray that during these days, when the global economic crisis and various natural and human-inflicted disasters are threatening countries and nations all over the world, we pray for peace, recovery and progress.
We pray to the Resurrected Lord to bless us and save and protect our compatriots in Kosovo and Metohija, and everywhere in the world where there is suffering, pain, injustice and violence.
Let Easter resurrect in us the noblest virtues that will make us endure as nation and as people. These are qualities of love for our neighbours, justice for every wrong, peace for the troubled, strength for the weak, help for the poor and needy, and unity to enable us to live and work together.
The resurrection of Jesus offers us a message of hope, love, and grace. Once again my wife and sons join me in extending our warmest wishes, and we do so in the very same spirit of Easter.
Christ is Risen!
